A typical cnc router table will have relatively limited z travels so it will be more for parts cut from sheet materials like a plasma table.

Also note that cutting out parts like this would be a perfect job for a plasma table or laser or waterjet. The frame for the cnc plasma table is built but not without a few problems along the way. I do not supply kits for these. So with the plasma cutter i wanted a 4ft x 4ft cutting area and the problem is a gantry needs room at the front and back and left to right so i knew the base would need. This is part 1 of a diy cnc plasma table build. Construct a cnc plasma cutter for 3000.
